Well, we tried! Track was great but dry, when we arrived on Thursday. Early Friday morning the area received some much needed rain. However, that’s not necessarily what a motocross track needs. The first thought was to cancel practice, but with some puddle draining and dozer work, we had a race track. First rounds were sloppy, but with a few laps and a bit of sun we had a track! It was fun riding on the flowing, fast track. After the Friday practice, Bobby worked the track for the Saturday race. He had it set up great.

About five in the morning, we started to hear the pitter platter of rain drops in the camper. It rained steady and hard for a while, which just took out the event.

We thank Lisa and Bobby for all the effort. The facility, track and folks are really nice. We were really looking forward to racing.
